Liquid Swords studio, founded by former Avalanche Studios co-founder Christopher Sandberg, has presented its first open-world project, Samson: A Tyndalston Story.
The game takes place in the city of Tyndalston, and the main character, Samson, is trying to get out of debt. As the character says in the trailer, collectors are happy to send their people to ensure timely repayment of money.
The trailer showed gameplay elements: car chases with the police through the narrow streets of the city, as well as hand-to-hand combat with the use of punches and holds.
According to the description on Steam, debt plays a key role in the game. The player has a limited number of action points, daily tasks must be completed, otherwise interest increases. Two main combat modes are available: hand-to-hand and car combat, as well as more than 25 improvements in the skill tree.
Samson: A Tyndalston Story will be released on PC on Steam and Epic Games Store. The release date has not yet been announced.
