Fatshark has launched a "Free Weekend" promotion in honor of the tenth anniversary of the Tide series.
The cooperative shooter Warhammer 40,000: Darktide has temporarily become free on Steam. The promotion will last until December 8, 21:00 Moscow time, and is timed to coincide with the 10th anniversary of the Tide series.
Darktide is the spiritual successor to Vermintide 2, transferred from a fantasy world to the grim setting of Warhammer 40,000. Players take on the role of prisoners of one of four classes who have been given the chance to atone for their guilt by fighting hordes of Chaos on the streets of the city of Tertium.
The game was released in 2022, recently celebrated its third anniversary and received a major update, including a new map, event and Hive Scum class, available as part of a paid DLC.
In addition to the free period, Fatshark has launched a promotional discount: until December 11, the game can be purchased with a 75% discount - for 687 rubles instead of 2749.
