37 Free Demos on Xbox: Indie Selects Demo Fest Launches for a Limited Time
ID@Xbox Indie Selects Demo Fest has launched on Xbox, an event featuring 37 free demos of upcoming indie projects. All games from the ID@Xbox program are available for download until the end of December 2025.
Most demos work on Xbox, with some also available on PC and mobile devices. Microsoft has compiled a selection of projects from studios around the world, allowing players to evaluate games before their official release.
The company warns that many demos are early versions and may differ significantly from the final product. Developers are continuing their work, so players may encounter errors. Some demos are not available in certain regions, but this may change.
The selection includes games of various genres: rhythm action Rhythm Towers, simulator STONKS-9800: Stock Market Simulator, horrors Pathologic 3 and Tenebris Somnia. Cooperative fans will get Biped 2, and fans of atmospheric stories will get Coffee Talk Tokyo.
After December 31, 2025, most demos will disappear from the Xbox store.
