The cult visual novel has reached mobile devices.
Team Salvato and Serenity Forge have released a mobile version of the cult visual novel Doki Doki Literature Club!.
The game was originally released on PC in 2017 and almost immediately gained cult status thanks to an unexpected twist: a full-fledged psychological horror was hidden behind the facade of a romantic simulator. The protagonist joins a literature club in the hope of an easy romantic adventure, but quickly gets drawn into much darker and more dangerous events.
The game has 96% positive reviews on Steam based on over 215,000 reviews.
The basic version can be downloaded for free. At the same time, the mobile release includes six side stories, over a hundred unlockable images, and a built-in music player with 26 compositions. Among them are thirteen new tracks by composer Nikki Kaelar, as well as works by Jason Hayes and Azuria Sky. This content is included in the Doki Doki Literature Club Plus! package, available as a paid package for 899 rubles in the App Store and 799 rubles in Google Play.
