Humble Games and Pixanoh studio have officially announced that the action RPG Town of Zoz will be released in early 2026. The game tells the story of Ito, who, after receiving a letter from his parents, returns to his hometown of Zoz, where his family runs a farm and restaurant, and becomes an accidental hero. An ancient magical threat looms over the peaceful and cozy life, which the main character has to deal with.
From a gameplay perspective, Town of Zoz focuses on combining several systems. At its core is dynamic melee action, where Ito uses a machete, dodges attacks, and fights side by side with his companions, who have different skills.
When the battles are over, the player is invited to cook. The prepared food can be used both to strengthen the character, receiving temporary bonuses to characteristics, and to develop relationships with the residents of Zoz. Favorite food increases the level of trust, opens up additional dialogues and allows you to learn more about the stories of secondary characters.
The announcement was accompanied by a new trailer, which shows in more detail the combat system, exploration of locations and the visual style of the game. Town of Zoz has not yet received an exact release date, but the wording "early 2026" usually means a release window from January to March.
The release will take place on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch and PC in Steam. Judging by the game page in Steam, Russian language support is not declared.
