The project is announced for PC and consoles, but its release date is still unknown.
Neon Giant, known for the cyberpunk action game The Ascent, presented their new game, NO LAW, at The Game Awards 2025. It is a shooter with role-playing elements and an open world, set in the city of Port Desire.
In the first interview after the announcement for IGN, Neon Giant co-founder and creative director Tor Frick acknowledged the inevitability of comparisons with Cyberpunk 2077, but emphasized key differences:
We discuss this internally as a team every day because we know that Cyberpunk is the benchmark, and people will definitely compare. But our game is very different, as is its world. A lot of it is in the mood and tone. Cyberpunk is a huge, sweeping experience in a metropolis. And our game is much more personal — both in gameplay mechanics and in the world.
