Ubisoft has decided on the global release date for the mobile version of the tactical shooter.
Ubisoft has announced that Rainbow Six Mobile will be released on February 23, 2026, on iOS and Android. In the Russian context, the date looks symbolic, as the release of the military shooter falls on Defender of the Fatherland Day. At the start, the project will not be available in the Russian segment of Google Play and the App Store, so players from Russia will have to use roundabout installation methods.
Rainbow Six Mobile is positioned as a free-to-play mobile version of Rainbow Six Siege, built from the ground up for smartphones. At release, the game will feature three modes with 5v5 matches — Bomb, Bomb Rush, and Team Deathmatch. The roster includes more than twenty operators with unique abilities, and the maps include familiar Siege locations, including Bank, Border, and Clubhouse. In addition, there is a training mode for newcomers unfamiliar with the series.
As in the main game, the developers are announcing a seasonal support model with regular additions of new content. Plans include expanding the list of operators, adding new maps, and holding in-game events.
