Bethesda has returned to Fallout 4 once again and introduced the December update. Players have traditionally criticized the developers, as such updates often lead to the breaking of modifications.
Particularly disgruntled individuals, like Loyalist Blood, are calling for Todd Howard himself to be sent to jail to stop the flow of updates.
The December patch fixes affect the loading / saving system, as well as the processing of Creations content. The interface has also been improved, localization errors have been fixed, and other bugs, for example:
- The Workshop menu is now optimized for ultrawide monitors.
- Fixed crashes that occurred when loading all Creations mods, reloading data, being idle in the menu, logging out of a profile, and exiting the "Creations" menu (especially on PS4 and PS5).
- Fixed rare crashes that occurred after purchases in the store, when scrolling or viewing the "Creations" menu, and when starting a new game with modifications enabled.
- Improved error handling when performing actions quickly in the menu; the game no longer freezes when exiting.
