Changes in a major Sony studio.
Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced a significant change in the leadership of Sucker Punch Productions, known for Sly Cooper, inFAMOUS, Ghost of Tsushima, and Ghost of Yōtei. Studio co-founder Brian Fleming is leaving the company after 30 years, handing over the reins to Jason Connell and Adrian Bentley.
Effective January 1, Jason Connell and Adrian Bentley, who have long led the studio's creative and technical departments, will assume new roles as co-presidents.
Connell and Fox served as creative directors for the Ghost franchise, defining the visual style and narrative of the games, while Bentley, as technical director, oversaw engineering and production processes, introducing innovations in development tools and game systems.
Nate Fox will continue to serve as creative director.
According to Sony, "Brian's vision and leadership have shaped a culture of creativity and collaboration at the studio, creating a foundation on which Jason, Adrian, and the entire team will continue to build the future".
Brian Fleming will continue to work at the company until April 2026, striving to ensure a smooth transition. The industry veteran doesn't yet know what he will do next.
