Warhorse studio co-founder and Kingdom Come duology creator Daniel Vávra leads an active life on social media, and for the past few days he has focused almost all of his attention on fighting opponents of using artificial intelligence in game development.

Previously, Vávra had already stood up for Larian, suggesting that people start getting used to AI because these tools significantly reduce the cost and greatly speed up game development.

Now, Vávra decided to joke about the opponents of AI, publishing on his X page an advertisement from 1915, which became a meme that technology companies often use as a response to criticism against them.

Ed Klein was the owner of a harness and saddlery shop in Lawrence, Kansas. He became a historical figure thanks to his print advertisement published in the Lawrence Journal-World newspaper in 1915. In those days, cars began to actively displace horses, and in an attempt to save his business, Klein made an advertisement in which he gave arguments in favor of buying a horse instead of a car: the cheapness of hay compared to gasoline, the lack of need for constant repairs — a horse will never break a carburetor — and reliability, because a horse will never get stuck in snow and mud.
