Daniel Vávra is not afraid that even he will be replaced by artificial intelligence at some point.

The creator of the Kingdom Come dilogy and one of the heads of Warhorse, Daniel Vávra, could not ignore the scandal that erupted around Larian's admission of using AI to create concept art. Although Larian CEO Sven Vincke tried to explain that the studio is constantly hiring new artists, and AI is used as Google or a simple art book, the crowd of haters did not stop. People scold Larian and urge not to buy its projects.

Daniel Vávra decided to support his colleagues and stated that it is time for many to recognize reality and start getting used to the fact that game studios will use AI more and more often.

This hysteria around AI is the same as when people smashed steam engines in the 19th century. Larian simply said that they are doing what absolutely everyone is doing, and received an insane storm of indignation in response [...] I am not a fan of AI-created art, but, in any case, it's time to face the truth: AI is not going anywhere from us. For some, this is scary, but what is, is.
Daniel Vávra, Warhorse.

Vávra noted that AI tools help studios save money and time, freeing people from monotonous work and helping them focus on the most important thing.

You know what annoys me most about making games? The fact that it takes 7 years, 300 people and tens of millions of dollars [...] If AI can help me create an epic game in a year with a smaller team, like in the old days, I'm all for it. This game will still have an art director, screenwriters, programmers, graphic designers, but they won't have to perform tedious and boring tasks, and they will be able to focus on the main thing.
Daniel Vávra, Warhorse.

Although many agree with Vávra's words, enough people are now criticizing him for wanting to make games with fewer developers. When one of the commentators stated that at some point AI would replace Vávra as well, the developer joked in response:

I have a full basement of gold bars, I don't care.
