The release of the DLC will kick off preparations for The Witcher 4, a new trilogy about Ciri, which will last a year and a half. The fourth installment is expected to be released in Q4 2027. The total budget for the trilogy has increased from $585.5 million to $892.16 million, including marketing.
Delays for other projects are also reported: Sirius and the remake of the first "Ведьмак" (Canis Majoris) have been postponed to 2028, with the budget reduced to $13.94 million. Hadar remains in the concept stage, with a release expected in 2032.
