The Witcher's Third DLC to be Released in May 2026. The Witcher 4 Campaign to Start Soon - Analyst
Analyst Mateusz Hrzanowski from Noble Securities reports that the third DLC for The Witcher 3 will be released in May 2026, coinciding with the anniversary of The Wild Hunt. Sales are expected to reach 11 million copies at $30 each by 2026, with a budget of $14.5 million for the expansion.
The premiere should mark the start of a full-fledged marketing campaign for The Witcher 4.
He added that the budget for other CD Projekt projects will be around $7.8 million, with potential revenues of $17 million.
The release of the DLC will kick off preparations for The Witcher 4, a new trilogy about Ciri, which will last for a year and a half. The fourth installment is expected in Q4 2027. The total budget for the trilogy has increased from $585.5 million to $892.16 million, including marketing.
Delays for other projects are also reported: Sirius and the remake of the first "Witcher" (Canis Majoris) have been postponed to 2028, with the budget reduced to $13.94 million. Hadar remains in the concept stage, with a release expected in 2032.
