Creative Assembly has published details about the long-term future of Total War: Warhammer 40,000. The game will launch with four factions: Space Marines, Orks, Astra Militarum, and Aeldari (Eldar). However, as Total War Vice President Roger Collum stated in his New Year's address to fans, this is just the beginning.
Our goal is to create the ultimate game in the Warhammer 40,000 universe, where all your favorite factions eventually come together in a giant galactic sandbox.
He directly admitted that the implementation of this plan could take about ten years.
Some of you have already noted that this is what the next decade looks like for Creative Assembly. We have a lot of work ahead of us to include everything that deserves a place in this galaxy.
