At Jump Festa 2026, the highly anticipated announcement of the third season of the anime "Dandadan" took place — the continuation will be released in 2027.
Studio Science SARU, which previously produced the first two seasons, is once again working on the third season. The announcement was made with the participation of the Japanese voice actors of the series.
According to the creators, the new season will continue the story immediately after the finale of the second, which ended on a dramatic note. The second part ended prematurely — right before the finale of the so-called "Kaiju Arc", so viewers did not see several key chapters.
The third season will return to these events, conclude the "Kaiju Arc", and advance the narrative to the "Space Globalists Arc". Whether the third season will cover it completely — up to the 120th chapter — or adapt only part of the material is not yet disclosed.
