Recently, active users began attacking Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 and calling the game "neuro-slop" because the developers used artificial intelligence in their work.
Now, the shooter Battlefield 6 may be under attack. The Battlefield Bulletin community drew attention to a strange icon from the Windchill premium set.
Users suggested that developers are creating cosmetic content using AI:
The "Winter Warning" player card sticker features an M4A1 with two barrels. Other cosmetics and descriptions were also created using generative AI.
Battlefield Bulletin recalled a statement by a DICE manager — a few months ago, she claimed that players would not see content created using AI:
[....] DICE VP and General Manager Rebecka Coutaz stated back in October that players would not see anything created by artificial intelligence in the game. Coutaz then claimed that generative AI was only used in the preparatory stages — "to give more time and space for creativity" — but at the moment it cannot be integrated into the daily work of developers.
