IO Interactive planned to release the game in March.
007 First Light will not be released on March 27 as previously promised. The release of the spy action game has been postponed to May 27, 2026. The game will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC (on Steam and Epic Games Store).
The game is progressing at a steady pace and can already be played from start to finish, so these extra two months will allow us to optimize and improve the gameplay, ensuring the highest quality version is released at launch. We are confident that this will ensure the long-term success of 007 First Light, and we sincerely appreciate the patience and continued support we have received since the game was announced. We look forward to sharing new updates about 007 First Light in early 2026.
