Famous cybersports athlete Riley "Breadman" Barnes called ARC Raiders a "garbage picking simulator", and stated that he does not understand the popularity of the extraction shooter from Embark Studios.
I can't believe ARC Raiders is the most popular extraction shooter right now. The whole game you are literally collecting recycled materials, and then recycling them to get even more recycled materials. It's a garbage picking simulator — and in the third person too.
Barnes says it would be better to rummage through real garbage, because you can find something valuable to sell in it.
I would do community service; at least then I could find someone's wedding ring or something like that that I could sell.
