A fan of Risen, created by Piranha Bytes, is preparing a new project based on the modern Unreal Engine 5.
Recently, modder Natsu presented the development diary of The Old Kingdom. He not only showed the technical aspects, but also arranged a gameplay demonstration.
In The Old Kingdom, you can play as different classes. They move around the world in different ways: a mage can levitate, a guard can use telekinesis on a lever, and an ordinary fighter will have to use a traditional approach to building a route.
The modder also showed the dialogue system and the updated appearance of the heroine, created using MetaHuman.
Now Natsu is looking for other enthusiasts who could help him with the project.
