Streamer Dr. Doot, who holds a doctorate in musical composition, completed the original Dark Souls without taking damage from enemies, using an electronic saxophone — an aerophone (Roland Aerophone) — as a controller.
This achievement allowed him to complete the entire Dark Souls trilogy (Dark Souls 1, 2 and 3) using the saxophone, as well as Elden Ring without taking damage. In addition, Dr. Doot previously completed Bloodborne and Sekiro without deaths using the same non-trivial control method.
The streamer is now planning a full playthrough of the metroidvania Hollow Knight.
