Arc Raiders players often complain about cheaters, but third-party software is not the only problem. It turns out that fans of unfair play had an additional (relatively) legal tool until recently.
The developers gave ordinary players access to the "NewConsole" command. With its help, tech enthusiasts could severely break the game in order to gain an advantage in raids. But now they have released a hotfix that should deprive them of this opportunity.
Community members said that there was no fog, trees, or grass for the tricksters - all of this was "turned off" in the console (they "forced the graphics settings on the server side").
It was also possible to place a zipline inside the wall to go outside the map and attack from an unexpected side.
One user even stated that a certain streamer was allegedly able to respawn after death during a raid.
