Gamers planning a PC build will have to consider new prices. According to Videocardz.com, the cost of components continues to rise, affecting not only video cards and memory, but also power supplies and cooling systems.
At the end of last year, 64 GB of DDR5 could cost more than a PS5, and video cards remain expensive. According to Chinese manufacturers, current prices have become unprofitable, and sales at old rates have been suspended.
Power supplies are expected to rise in price by up to 10%, and cooling systems by about 8%. From February 1, all current promotions will be canceled, and up to 90% of offers will receive new, higher prices. Manufacturers explain this by the increase in the cost of copper, tin and silver, as well as financial pressure due to the global economic situation.
