"Black Panther 3" filming to start in June - media
The film received the subtitle "Shadows of Wakanda".
Marvel Studios is preparing to shoot the third part of "Black Panther". According to updated information from the Film and Television Industry Alliance database, production of the film, under the working title "Black Panther: Shadows of Wakanda", will begin on June 15, 2026 in London.
According to the description in the database, the film"explores Wakanda's vulnerability after T'Challa's death, while Shuri acts as both a warrior and a leader".
This information implies that Letitia Wright will return to the role of Shuri. Denzel Washington's participation has also been confirmed, for whom director Ryan Coogler has written a new role, which is currently being kept secret.
The release date of the film is not yet known. Given the filming schedule, the events of the film may unfold either before "Avengers: Secret Wars" or after.
