IO Interactive Releases Corrected System Requirements for 007: First Light and Apologizes for Previous Confusion
"We regret the confusion this caused and thank everyone who brought the issue to our attention."
Last week, IO Interactive published the system requirements for 007: First Light, which caused confusion in the community: a non-existent Intel Core i5-9500K processor and discrepancies in video memory requirements — for example, 12 GB of video memory on an NVIDIA RTX 3060 Ti, which only has 8 GB.
The developers explained the situation as an internal communication error — according to them, an old draft version of the requirements was published. Now everything has been fixed:
Minimum requirements (1080p, 30 fps):
- Intel Core i5-9500 or AMD Ryzen 5 3500
- NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660, AMD RX 5700 or Intel equivalent
- 16 GB RAM
- 80 GB on storage
Recommended requirements (1080p, 60 fps):
- Intel Core i5-13500 or AMD Ryzen 5 7600
- NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti, AMD RX 6700 XT or Intel equivalent
- 16 GB (down from 32 GB)
- 80 GB on storage
007: First Light will be released on May 27 on PC (Steam and Epic Games Store), PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2.
