The second season of the anime "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End" has been released — a continuation of one of the most highly rated fantasy stories of recent years.
In the second season, Frieren continues her journey with Fern and Stark. According to preliminary information, the new episodes will adapt the manga arcs "Continuation of the Northern Journey", "Divine Rebellion" and "Golden Land". The latter is considered one of the most anticipated and, apparently, will become a bridge to the third season.
There are no mass reviews yet, but early reviews note that the series has retained the atmosphere and rhythm of the first season. AnimeCorner writes that the animation is still at a high level, the chemistry between the characters works, and the composition of the scenes and the soundtrack are precisely calibrated and enhance the emotional impact. In turn, Polygon notes that "Frieren is still impeccable, and Madhouse studio is still on top."
New episodes will be released once a week. The exact number of episodes has not yet been revealed.
