Kit Harington to Play Dane Whitman Again in the Marvel Cinematic Universe - Insider
It seems Kit Harington is destined to become the Black Knight after all, despite the problems with the Blade movie.
Kit Harington, star of "Game of Thrones" and the actor who played Dane Whitman in "Eternals", is ready to return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. According to insider MyTimeToShineHello, the actor will reappear as the future Black Knight in the movie "Midnight Sons."
"Midnight Sons" is described as a "supernatural counterpart to the Avengers" and is rumored to be part of the seventh or eighth phase of the MCU. The film should tell the story of the team of heroes' confrontation with Mephisto and unite Blade, Ghost Rider, Moon Knight, Werewolf, and Dane Whitman, who will finally become the Black Knight, under one roof.
According to The Cosmic Circus, Marvel Studios initially planned to bring Harington back in the "Blade" movie, but the production of the film was subsequently frozen or canceled altogether, which forced the studio to revise its plans for the character.
