Cozy barista simulator Coffee Talk Tokyo release postponed to May
The developers decided to take extra time for polishing.
The sequel to the cozy barista simulator Coffee Talk, this time set in Tokyo, will be released on May 21, 2026 — almost two months later than originally planned. The postponement was announced by publisher Chorus Worldwide and studio Toge Productions. The release was previously expected on March 5, but the team decided to take extra time to, "bring everything to the right temperature."
"Our team is working hard to ensure that Coffee Talk Tokyo delivers the cozy atmosphere, heartfelt conversations, and late-night talks you've been waiting for. We look forward to sharing more news as we get closer to launch."
Players will once again spend long nights behind the counter of a small cafe, where, as a barista, they prepare drinks for people and fantastic creatures. Each cup affects the client's mood and the direction of the dialogue, helping to reveal their dreams and anxieties. The sequel will feature new characters, expanded latte art tools, and the in-game social network Tomodachill, allowing you to learn more about visitors.
As a reminder, Coffee Talk Tokyo will be released on PS5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
Meanwhile, the first part of the series is preparing for release on smartphones: the mobile version of Coffee Talk will be released on iOS and Android on March 20, 2026.
