Mobile Hit Hill Climb Racing Surpasses 2 Billion Downloads
The game took almost 14 years to reach this milestone.
Finnish studio Fingersoft announced that its iconic mobile arcade game Hill Climb Racing has surpassed 2 billion downloads. The game was released back in 2012 and has since remained one of the most recognizable mobile projects in the world, attracting over 4 million players daily.
The success of Hill Climb Racing has gradually evolved into a full-fledged franchise. The sequel, Hill Climb Racing 2, will celebrate its tenth anniversary this year, and the total number of downloads for the entire series is already approaching 3 billion. In addition, Fingersoft is collaborating with LEGO, resulting in the spin-off LEGO Hill Climb Adventures.
Another installment in the series, Hill Climb Racing 3, is currently in soft launch and is available to players in the UK, Finland, Sweden, and Norway.
