The humorous mini-series has returned alongside the second season of the main anime.
With the release of the second season of "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End," the mini-anime "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End ~Magic~" has also returned to the screens. The new 18th episode, titled "A Spell That Binds Those Who See It," is already available for viewing on the TOHO Animation YouTube channel, as well as on official accounts on X and TikTok.
The "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End ~Magic~" mini-anime exists separately from the main series and tells original stories not directly related to the main plot. The project features a simplified visual style with chibi characters, a short runtime, and an emphasized light, humorous tone.
The mini-anime is released irregularly, so there is no date for the next episode yet. The second episode of the second season of the main anime will be released this Friday, January 23.
