Medieval RPG 1348 Ex Voto to be Released in March - First Gameplay and Combat System Details
Sedleo Studio has presented a gameplay trailer and revealed the release date for 1348 Ex Voto - March 12, 2026, on PC and PS5. The game will transport players to 14th-century Italy during the Black Death, combining the beauty of the landscapes with the cruelty and despair of that time.
The main character is Aeta, a young noblewoman and knight, whose life is turned upside down by tragic events. Players will have to accompany her through the chaos: mass migrations, political conflicts, and the plague. Aeta seeks to save her friend Bianca, voiced by Jennifer English (Baldur’s Gate 3, Clair Obscure).
A special feature of the game is the realism of the battles. The system is based on European martial arts (HEMA), and the smoothness and realism of the movements were ensured by professional actors using motion capture technology. Players will be able to change stances, fighting styles, and use found skill books.
The gameplay leads through medieval castles, villages in the Apennines, and the ruins of ancient Rome. The camera and gameplay are reminiscent of the A Plague Tale series.
