First Look at Jason Momoa as Lobo in "Supergirl" Revealed
Jason Momoa has finally landed the role he has dreamed of for years.
A short teaser featuring the first look at Jason Momoa as the cosmic mercenary Lobo appeared first on James Gunn's social media and then on the official DC channels.
In the video, the actor steps out of a trailer with a cigar in his mouth. Off-screen, he is asked if he has any comments about the role, to which Momoa replies briefly: "Finally." After that, the teaser switches to new footage from the film, where Lobo appears on his iconic bike.
Momoa has repeatedly admitted that Lobo is his dream role. Back in the days of "Batman v Superman," the actor was surprised that Zack Snyder offered him the role of Aquaman, not the insane cosmic mercenary. Now this long-held dream has finally come to fruition on screen.
The movie "Supergirl" will be released on June 26, 2026, and will be the second major project of the updated DC cinematic universe after "Superman."
