The medieval indie game 1348 Ex Voto is becoming one of the "dark horses" of the coming months and is often compared to the A Plague Tale series.
The project, which will be released on March 12, 2026, has already exceeded 100,000 additions to the wishlist on Steam. For an indie game with a price of $25, this is a strong result, especially considering that there are still several weeks until release.
Players will be transported to 14th century Italy. 1348 Ex Voto is a cinematic action-adventure inspired by knightly stories.
The plot focuses on the relationship between the main character Aeta and Bianca. The latter is voiced by actress Jennifer English, known for her roles in Baldur’s Gate 3 and Clair Obscure: Expedition 33.
