The developers used a proven system of catching creatures (inspired by Pokémon) and added an advanced system of crafting and building a base (as in Palworld). You can put up to 4 caught animals in a team, and battles take place in real time. Switching between creatures works like in Genshin Impact — when you change the active aniimo, you can use the unique abilities of the species, for example, a “flying squirrel” can plan. The game will also offer many story missions in the style of Genshin Impact.
Aniimo will be released on Xbox Series X/S and PC in the summer of 2026. The beta shows that the project is already well developed. The game will be free, the details of the monetization model are still unknown.
