A Reddit user under the nickname wewillmakeitnow has turned a PlayStation 4 into a portable device the size of a Steam Deck.
The project is based on a modified PS4 Slim motherboard, redesigned to make the system as compact as possible without losing functionality. The device also received a redesigned cooling system, a 7-inch OLED screen, and an HDMI output for connecting to a TV.
The portable PS4 runs on batteries with up to three hours of battery life, and the console can be used while charging.
The development has no commercial future — according to wewillmakeitnow, the console was created solely as an attempt to test his engineering genius.
