Not only on a remake of the original Silent Hill.
In its financial report for the third quarter of fiscal year 2026, Konami said that it is working on a "completely new" Silent Hill game. The project is part of the publisher's strategy to expand its portfolio and create a variety of games across different genres that can be played on different platforms and in any conditions.
There are no details about the new project yet. However, the industry assumes that this may refer to a remake of Silent Hill 3, which is not expected to be released before 2028.
At the same time, Konami once again confirmed that the remake of the first Silent Hill is in active development. At the end of 2025, Bloober Team officially stated that the project had moved into the full production stage, and according to insider reports, work on it has already been underway for about three years.
