The game will be released in the first half of this year on PC. The console version will arrive later.
Liquid Swords studio has released a development diary for the action game Samson, dedicated to the combat system of the upcoming action title.
The main character, Samson, is neither a soldier nor a martial arts master. According to lead programmer Strati Zerbinis, he is a street fighter forced to improvise constantly. Enemies attack in groups, surround him, try to come at him from behind, and survival depends not on \"fair\" duels, but on movement, aggression, and a willingness to fight dirty. There is no room for nobility here.
The key idea behind the fights is that the city itself becomes a weapon. Any interior can be turned into ruins, and the debris can be used against enemies. Objects fly apart, hinder opponents, fall from above, crush, and kill. The developers emphasize that destroyed objects can be picked up, combined, and used in combat.
