The viral success of Backpack Battles spawned a wave of imitators, including on smartphones. Now players can get their hands on the official mobile port.
Studio PlayWithFurcifer has released a mobile version of the indie hit Backpack Battles. The game is now available in the App Store and Google Play and is distributed under a premium model — for 899 and 799 rubles, respectively.
According to the developers, the content fully matches the PC version: all characters, items, and key mechanics have been carried over to the port. The interface was redesigned for touch controls — something the browser version, previously launched via Itch.io, lacked. Russian language support has also been announced.
Backpack Battles was released on Steam in the summer of 2025 and quickly turned into a viral project. Players appreciated the unusual combination of an auto-battler and a "roguelike," where the competent organization of inventory plays a key role. The project has collected more than 17 thousand user reviews on Steam, 91% of which are positive, and peak concurrent player count exceeded 36 thousand players.
