Nintendo Switch Online subscribers can look forward to a new selection of classic games. The company has updated the Nintendo Classics lineup available as part of the subscription.

Two games from the Game Boy handheld console were added to the service. The first was Yoshi from 1991, developed by Game Freak, the studio that later became known as the creator of the Pokémon series.

The second game was Baloon Kid, released on the American market in 1990. It was developed by Nintendo R&D1, and the project itself is a classic platformer.

Notably, Baloon Kid was not released in Japan on the original Game Boy. Only two years later, Sanrio released the game on the domestic market in a reworked form with the characters replaced under the title "Hello Kitty World". In 2000, the game reappeared in Japan on the Game Boy Color as "Balloon Fight GB".
