Electronic Arts summed up the results of the last quarter of the year (October-December). The financial report confirmed what server activity had indicated since release: Battlefield 6 is showing strong results.
The game not only set engagement records within the series, but also became the best-selling shooter of 2025. Against the backdrop of Battlefield 6's success, EA's total quarterly sales rose 38% year over year and reached $3 billion.
Battlefield became the main driver of growth. According to Insider Gaming, more than 10 million copies have been sold. At the same time, the publisher's other key divisions also showed growth. EA recorded stable performance in the EA Sports FC segment thanks to the popularity of Ultimate Team and the mobile version.
Apex Legends delivered double-digit revenue growth. EA notes that new events and features are helping retain the audience. The company's total quarterly revenue amounted to $1.9 billion.
The report was released against the backdrop of EA's preparations to leave the stock market and transition to private ownership. The $55 billion deal involving the Saudi Public Investment Fund (PIF) and Affinity Partners is expected to be completed between April and June 2026.
