Vice President and General Manager Steve Allison said in an interview that the crisis in the industry is affecting the console segment more severely, while the PC market continues to grow. According to him, the mass audience has already moved or is continuing to move from consoles to PC.

We are seeing a clear market shift from consoles to PC. (...) We continue to record growth in the PC gaming market.

He added that the entire market, especially the console segment, is facing new competition. Younger audiences are increasingly choosing social networks like TikTok, while the rising cost of living is reducing people's willingness to spend money on games: "we are starting to compete with groceries." This is already being reflected in console sales. According to Forbes, year-over-year PS5 sales fell by 40%, Series X|S by 70%, and Switch 2 by 10%.

Allison also emphasized that the rise in RAM prices is not yet causing concern. In his forecast, the PC gaming market will continue to grow in 2026.

For most hardcore PC gamers, their device still outperforms the PS5 and Series X in specifications. (...) Graphics cards from four years ago are still running games at 60 fps on Ultra.
