The developers made a number of adjustments to simplify the game in its early stages.
GRYPHLINE announced a free giveaway of a six-star operator in Arknights: Endfield. The reward can be claimed by players who have completed the story mission "Chapter I, Process I: Breaking the Siege." Completing the objective grants an "Assignment Selection Permit," which allows players to choose one of the operators from the standard banner. According to the developers, this should make it easier to assemble a first team.
At the same time, the team shared in-game statistics and spoke about changes aimed at reducing the burden on players at the start of the playthrough. According to official data, by February 1, 2026, users had already laid more than 42 billion meters of power lines and repaired over 23 million structures. The most popular object was the light depot in Valley Center IV — it was built and repaired 4.3 million times.
All of the announced changes are already active and took effect on February 5. Among them is an adjustment to enemy levels at higher research levels. Thus, at the sixth level, enemy difficulty was reduced from 60 to 55, and at the seventh level, from 70 to 60. At the same time, loot tables remained unchanged.
In addition, the developers simplified early operator progression. Rewards for reaching certain influence levels were increased, construction controls in top-down view mode were improved, and enemy placement was adjusted to reduce the number of mandatory encounters near teleport points and rare resource gathering locations.
