The first footage from the set of Amazon's Tomb Raider series has appeared online, showing Sophie Turner as Lara Croft. In the video, the actress makes her way through a forest in heavy rain.
Keeley Hawes, who voiced Lara Croft in several games in the series, was also previously spotted on set. It is assumed that the actress will play the role of the main character's mother, Amelia Croft. In addition, the Daily Mail published several shots from the filming in the same location — in Surrey in the south-east of Great Britain.
The premiere date for the first season has not yet been revealed.
