Rumors about a possible release of Black Myth: Wukong on Nintendo Switch 2 continue to gain momentum. Insider NateTheHate stated in a new episode of his podcast that he had heard about the game's release on the new Nintendo console "at some point."
According to him, the project was expected to be seen at the Nintendo Partner Direct presentation, which took place on February 5, but no announcement followed. This does not negate the possibility of a port itself — the release, if it does take place, may be scheduled for a later date.
Previously, Game Science studio had already faced difficulties in adapting the game for consoles. The Xbox Series X|S version was released almost a year after the release on PS5 and PC. According to unofficial information, Sony assisted the developers with optimization, which allowed the game to be released on PS5 earlier.
If NateTheHate's information is confirmed, porting Black Myth: Wukong to Switch 2 will likely require the developers to enlist the help of a third-party studio with experience porting to Nintendo platforms. Gameranx mentions Shiver Entertainment as a possible partner, but there is no official confirmation of this at the moment.
