According to him, the company is in negotiations with Christie Wilson-Cairns, the Oscar-nominated screenwriter of the war drama "1917". It is assumed that she may be involved in the script for the sixth film in the series.
The plot, it is claimed, will focus on Jack Sparrow's son and a new female character, with Margot Robbie predicted to play the role. Previously, the actress was associated with a separate spin-off of "Pirates", but now Disney, apparently, decided to integrate her character into the main line of the franchise. The image of the heroine is described as something between Jack Sparrow and Cruella de Vil, performed by Emma Stone.
The question of Johnny Depp's return to the role of Jack Sparrow remains open. Last year, information appeared that the studio was considering his participation in a minor role, but there is no confirmation of this data yet.
