After a wave of criticism of the finale, the authors decided not to limit themselves to editing the fifth episode.
The finale of the horror novel "Tiny Bunny" caused a wave of discontent even among the most devoted fans, and now the developers have decided to act radically. Instead of the previously promised edits to the fifth episode, Saikono announced the development of a "Rebuild" — a complete reworking of the entire game with a new scenario, a revised logic of the world, and an updated narrative.
In an official statement, the author of the project said that he had analyzed more than six thousand player reviews over the past months. According to him, the previous plan of partial corrections turned out to be a "half measure" that did not address the root problems of the story, so the team decided to start from scratch.
The key direction of the "Rebuild" will be a return to mysticism with an emphasis on shamanism and the secrets with which the story of "Tiny Bunny" began. The new lore will unite all episodes into a coherent narrative, get rid of illogical jumps between alternative branches, and pay special attention to the internal consistency of the world. Now items found in one storyline will be saved in others. At the same time, Saikono emphasizes that the updated lore will fit into the canons of existing comics and will not contradict them.
The developer also promised to abandon the "game-puzzle" technique, in which it was necessary to open all the endings to understand the plot. In the new version, each branch will cover all the main storylines in one playthrough.
In addition to Saikono, a new author is working on the script for the new version, who is tasked with "helping the story sparkle with fresh colors" without destroying the magic that the first episodes gave.
The release dates for the updated version have not yet been disclosed.
