Project lead Simon Collins-Laflamme addressed creators working with Roblox, urging them to closely monitor the direction of the platform's development — especially against the backdrop of a growing emphasis on generative AI. According to him, communication with investors and developers differs significantly, and focusing on "scale, efficiency, and AI-driven growth" in the long term may reduce the role of live creators. The reason for the statements was Roblox's new tools based on generative models, which in the future should allow creating scenes, assets, and game logic using text commands.

Collins-Laflamme notes that platforms, under pressure from investors, are looking for ways to scale content production without a commensurate increase in payments to creators. He recalled his experience in UGC and modding and emphasized that Hytale's goal is to "take as little as possible from creators," down to zero commissions, considering them as part of the team, not content providers. At the same time, he acknowledges that Roblox's scale today is unattainable for competitors and there is no direct confrontation, but Hytale's approach to development and working with creators will be different.
