Ubisoft has announced the launch date for Might & Magic Fates in Steam Early Access. The PC version will be available on February 16. The project previously debuted on iOS and Android.
Simultaneously with the date announcement, the developers presented a development roadmap. In the next update, the game will feature player profiles with statistics and portraits, a combat log, a card dusting function, and a discount on the founder's pack.
Subsequent patches are planned to include card trading between users, a new faction, about 40 additional cards, a battle pass, daily login bonuses, a card rotation system, and a separate "altar" with donation mechanics.
Fates is positioned as a tactical card strategy in the Might & Magic universe with an emphasis on PvP. Players are invited to collect decks, develop heroes of different factions, and participate in competitive matches where the outcome depends on card combinations and their play. The developers regularly emphasize that in-game purchases do not give a direct advantage in PVP.
Although the game is already available on mobile devices in most regions, it has not yet been officially released in the Russian segment of Google Play — pre-registration is open there. Users from Russia who have installed the game through workarounds report problems connecting to the servers.
