Recently, the developers of Battlefield 6 published a roadmap for the second season. A couple of new maps, additional models of weapons and equipment will be added to the game.
Not all players were impressed by the developers' presentation, and they decided to remind them of their words about the season system:
Our "Seasons" will contain more content than ever before in Battlefield games.
According to community members, the creators of Battlefield 6 deceived them - they are calling for more active delivery of fresh content or the return of old maps in an updated format.
Previously, as part of premium DLC, 4 new maps were offered every three months:
So, it was a lie. I can't believe how badly they screwed everything up after the launch of Battlefield 6. We were promised so much - it's the best-selling shooter, it's supported by several studios, a huge number of players. And in the end, we get tiny portions of content? I'm honestly terribly disappointed with this franchise and the BF studios. We need persistent servers and 3 new maps (normal, Battlefield-style) - or at least 2 new and 1 remastered - that should be the minimum. I'm just sad :(
Some participants in the discussion noted that in the understanding of game-service developers, "content" also includes battle passes with cosmetic content.
