In February, the developers of Baldur's Gate 3 released a small patch. Its description was not presented in the Steam community, so players began trying to figure out what it was.
Larian Studios published a statement on the social network and explained that the patch is designed to fix several bugs and repair saves:
If you were stuck loading saves or trying to transition from Act 2 to Act 3, your corrupted saves should now be fixed!
However, the patch did not go smoothly — players soon began to complain about noticeable technical problems.
Performance Baldur's Gate 3 in some cases dropped from 60-100 FPS to 15-30 after installing the patch. Some saves are now broken.
Users, like Albatr0se, wonder: "When will Larian learn about the existence of beta versions? Or do they just like to break mods?"
