He noted that the ending of the first game does not give a clear answer to the future of the Witcher, and it was a mistake to create an animation of the scene without the participation of the team responsible for the plot: "The script for this animation was created almost without the participation of the writing team. Therefore, we did not pay much attention to it, and I think it was a mistake."
This animation tells a different story than the images at the end of the game. Geralt remains in Vizima and is involved in political intrigues: someone is trying to kill Foltest. There is a character there who, as you will see, is a witcher. It soon became clear that the next game should continue this story and show witchers killing kings.
According to him, the second part of "The Witcher" was very politicized and did not allow exploring Geralt, his family and past, but the team was able to return to these aspects in the third part.
Ganshinets also believes that Fool's Theory can change the image of the Wild Hunt: initially it was not supposed to be "elves in armor", but a sign of death. He believes in the team and hopes that The Witcher Remake will be a really good game.
The studio is also currently involved in the production of the fourth part of the series, so it is too early to talk about the results of the remake.
