You are one of the few surviving scientists, located under the ocean in a research submarine. The goal is to return to the surface and find out the fate of your family, who took refuge within the Atoll Project.
The gameplay combines a submarine simulator and survival. The player explores the dark ocean floor in first person, using four unique ship abilities. It is important to manage energy - charge the device in underwater stations and avoid falling meteorite fragments.
The game is designed for a compact, cinematic experience: the plot can be completed in two hours, making ATOLL ideal for one atmospheric evening.
